There IS something about beagles that makes them extra awesome. I'm a dog person in general, though. I was helping out a neighbor last night with some computer stuff, he has a dachshund and a black lab. Both of them piled on top of me while I was working. Neighbor couldn't believe that they were being so affectionate. Animal magnetism, I suppose!
Agreed. Pete is something special and I love him every day. He's pushing 12. But I love most all dogs - to the point that I have no filer and let them lick and jump on me (which most owners train them not to). But I don't see them as aggressive, which has led to a bite or two, but overall they're great. I dig cats too. And my cat and dog love each other.
